What is osteopathy ?

Osteopathy views the body as an integral unit in which the bones, muscles, ligaments, and organs work together to support life and well-being. Rather than treating just the symptoms, our goal is to identify and correct the root cause of the problem.

What happens during an osteopathy appointment ?

Sessions take place in a private office and last 45 minutes.

I will ask questions relating to your medical history, symptoms, and objectives. A brief, yet thorough osteopathic assessment will be performed to better pinpoint the issue. I use gentle manual therapy techniques tailored to your specific needs. These may include structural (joint-related), visceral (organ-related), cranial, or soft tissue-based techniques, depending on the restrictions identified.

At the end of the treatment, I will provide advice, as well as a few exercises to help consolidate the treatment's effects and enhance its overall effectiveness.

Receipts and Insurance

As a member in good standing of Ostéopathie Québec (the largest association of osteopaths in Quebec and Canada), I will provide you with a receipt that is accepted by the vast majority of insurance companies and healthcare plans.
